What should I expect for my first session?

When you arrive, you’ll be asked to take off your shoes and grab a locker.

Sauna
Sauna rooms are private. You’ll be taken back to your room where you’ll receive two towels: one to sit on and one to use to dry off, a large pitcher of ice cold filtered water, and our signature Turmeric & Neem scrub. If sauna bathing with a group, we recommend wearing your bathing suit and bringing a bag for your wet suit after your session.

Salt
The salt room is a community room with 6 chairs. You should wear comfortable clothing. The room can get chilly, so feel free to bring layers. You will receive a blanket and bolster to help you relax. Once the session starts you’ll hear the humming of the halogenerator as it crushes the salt into a fine aerosol mist. Most people like to read, meditate, or nap during their session.

Plunge
Cold plunge can be added to any sauna session. Our plunge tub is built to replicate the Finnish tradition of jumping in the snow between sauna sessions. We have a 130 gallon tub in each sauna room that is continuously filtering and chlorinated. There are steps up to get into the tub. The tubs are impeccably maintained and deep cleaned on a regular basis. Upon special request we do allow plunge only without sauna. Email hello@suolaspa.com to schedule.

Is there an age limit?

18 and up!
Or 14 and older if accompanied by a legal guardian.

What is the benefit of being a suola spä member?

Just like anything, something done once is great. However, to receive lasting results, we recommend multiple sessions. That’s why we’ve created the suola spä membership. Choose between 2, 4, or 8 sessions per month. Oh, and members plunge for free!

How do I use a gift certificate?

You should receive a code with your certificate. You’ll enter the code during your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please be mindful that within 24 hours, we cannot cancel or reschedule your reservations. No shows will be charged in full.

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation please find your booking confirmation email and follow steps to cancel.

If you are unable to do that, please contact us.

If you cancel 24 hours before your appointment, we’ll happily refund your purchase and/or help you reschedule.

Are sessions/memberships/packages/gift certificates refundable?

All purchases are final sale and non-refundable.
